Recensione – news from Mount Fabric

mount fabricJuly 2011. I was in Manchester, UK, looking for some nice music. Then I found a gig that impressed me, it was performed by Mount Fabric. And I am very happy to hear that now, April 2013, they are working in progress.

Their style reminds me lovely Radiohead. They are not only playing an instrument, these four guys hold them leave their energy in dynamics and catchy melodies, like a tender nuclear explosion. The singer and lyricist Alex Marczak uses his sweet voice in a perfect falsetto, sending dark messages around the sounding space.

The young progressive pop/rock band from Manchester, first met in 2007, had a great 2012 touring around England and California, also writing and recording new songs.

And now it is the time to launch the new single “Heuristic Fits”, released on Crystalline Recordings on April 15th 2013, that is a song about the failings of the human brain as it tries to comprehend the meaning of life, the universe and everything.

Also the new collection of work will explore the themes of science, religion and the meaning of life, with absolutely nothing about relationships… that sounds very interesting!

Hope to listen you soon, very soon…

Cheers & love to MCR
